The Choctaw County Community Center is a multipurpose facility that allows citizens of Choctaw County and others to assemble and participate in various civic, cultural, and recreational activities.
The Community Center has:
- 4,750 square feet of assembly space
- A total area of 8,800 square feet
- Accommodates 300 with banquet-style seating
The Community Center is located at 55 East Quinn Street in Ackerman, right off of Highway 12 and a short distance from downtown Ackerman. The Community Center will accommodate a wide variety of activities and events, including meetings, banquets, workshops, seminars, trade shows, receptions, parties, reunions, training, entertainment, and more.
The facility includes an entry/foyer, a large ballroom with a stage and backstage area, a kitchen, and restrooms. It also includes round and long tables and chairs to use at your event. The kitchen features an ice machine, stove, refrigerator/freezer, upright refrigerator, ample workspace, and a large sink.
The facility is available for rental by businesses, civic organizations, social clubs, religious organizations, school organizations, governmental entities, families, and individuals.
The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce owns and operates the Choctaw County Community Center.
