The Choctaw County Partnership is committed to providing the finest workforce training in the state of Mississippi. Any training can take place with Holmes Community College, where workforce training is designed to provide contract training in a non-credit format for individuals and businesses. Courses are designed to meet specific training requirements of the company or the organization.
The Choctaw County Partnership, in conjunction with Holmes Community College, has set up localized training centers to meet the needs of industry by training employees and the public for jobs. Based upon the training needs of local manufacturers, the following equipment was purchased through a grant with Holmes Community College and placed at the Choctaw County Career and Technology Center.

- Welding Machines
- CNC Machines
The Choctaw County Partnership with Holmes Community College can design any specific training needed to support your company. Welding classes and a basic manufacturing class are offered on a rotational basis to the general public.
A 24-hour basic manufacturing class was designed with feedback from Industry with Holmes Community College. This class is for newly hired individuals or individuals seeking to gain employment. The class helps prepare individuals with the soft skills needed to become successful employees. All participants of the basic manufacturing class will obtain a National Career Readiness Certificate.

Local school districts are committed to supporting local industry and jobs. Career and Technology Centers in each county are preparing high school graduates to enter the workforce through specialized courses. And every high school senior will graduate with the National Career Readiness Certificate.
